E. Vasilomanolakis, Assistant Professor at the University of Aalborg (AAU) in Copenhagen, Denmark, chairs the Cyber Security ARES Conference.

ARES holds the International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES) and brings together researchers and professionals in the field of IT Security and IT Privacy. Since 2005 ARES has been serving as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge, discussions and the transfer of know-how. It takes place every year in another European country.

In 2021 the Conference was held, due to COVID-19, online.

From 2006 to 2016 ARES Conferences have been published by Conference Publishing Services (CPS).
Starting in 2017, ARES Conferences are published by the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS).

Emmanouil Vassilomanolakis chairs the Workshop and Program at the 4th International Workshop on Cyber ​​Threat Information Management, Cyber ​​Threat Intelligence Management (CyberTIM 2021).
