The first dissertations started in 1987 and are an integral part in the development and publication of network research and education in our country. Topics such as UNIX, network management, Χ.25, UUCP, Data Communications, Χ.400, Χ.500, ARIADNE-NOC, Network Programming, Multimedia Mail, Networked Information Resources and Tools, ΙΡ/ΑΤΜ, Satellite Comms, ΙΡν6, Security, Virtualization have been the subject of study and experimentation with students of Universities, Technical Colleges and Postgraduate Associates.
The dissertations together with the rest of the works (trouble-shooting tickets, work-reports, repository of configuration files and changes, user home directories in groupserver) and studies (technical reports/deliverables)
of the Network Operations Center constitute our “Knowledge Base”. The concept of “learning paths” or digital learning footprint as the learning content that is updated by new members and partners is the chosen method and mechanism
of communication skills and knowledge.
