In our SDDC architecture we test the backup tool from Storware for VMs, which was provided to our team with a free license extension due to our participation in the 2nd OVIRT Conference in Rome in 2020.
Storware‘s VProtect provides a backup/restore solution for virtualization environments that are KVM or KVM-based, with full or partial Backup capabilities, support for QEMU 2.1+, Ceph, mixed volume types etc. and it provides an open API for integration with 3rd-party software
